Number of cars per household on East Grampian Coast and Scotland 2001-22
Key Findings
The number of cars per household increased slightly between 2001 and 2022 on the East Grampian Coast, while the number of households with no cars decreased (Fig. 1).
Compared with Scotland as a whole - the East Grampian coast has slightly more households with no cars or one car, and slightly less householes with two or more cars (Fig. 2).
These figures have been taken from census records relating to selected coastal wards.
