Notes: East Grampian Census area

Key Findings

  • The Scottish Census is held every 10 years to create a statistical snapshot of the population, economy and society. 
  • Statistics are released on a ward by ward basis. For the 2009 State of the East Grampian Coast report EGCP selected a set of wards that best fit with the East Grampian coast, figure 2. The ward area are reviewed periodically resulting in a very slight change in are for the 2011 and 2022 census results. Figure 2.
  • It should be noted that the 2021 census was delayed until 2022 due to the Covid19 pandemic.
